The community is really important to 1125 CIC and over the year we run volunteering activities to help people in the local area and help to improve community spaces.
At Christmas we make share boxes for the young people that are part of the 1125 CIC Community. Inside the boxes are handmade bath bombs, candles, jewellery, positive signs and grow your own ‘good luck’ seeds.
One of the young people said ‘Thank you for the gift, it was so nice to have a present made by the group’.
If you would like to donate any monies to support our share box appeal please get in contact with us. (or click here)

Respecting our community is important so we work with young people to help ‘give back’ by painting community buildings or help rejuvenate outdoor spaces. We have worked at Connahs Quay Cricket Club and helped with the outdoor yard…
The feedback was ‘Its brilliant, it looks amazing all the people at the club love what you have all done’.
We run litter picking activities where young people have the power to select a street. We gather a group, and after a short safety induction grab a litter picker and bag and spend a few hours cleaning the space.
We promote local services in the area for example Food Bank, churches… but have provided emergency food parcels for young people and families when they have reached crisis point.
If anyone would like to donate any monies to 1125 CIC for emergency food parcels then please get in contact with us.
This is dependent on available resources.
We deliver social enterprise projects which enable young people to get involved in planning, budgeting, marketing and selling the products they have made. The money raised goes straight back into the community.
During the Re-new sessions we deliver creative workshops making the products which are sourced from ‘rubbish’ often linked with antisocial behaviour - aluminium from cans, paper from cigarettes and bottle tops from wine and beer; combined with throw away objects plastic, wire, cogs and paper. The business workshops enable individuals to learn about advertising, marketing and budgeting and the last session enables the group to sell their product.
If anyone is interested in funding the Renew Social enterprise project please get in contact with us.
During ‘Grow your own’ workshops the young people get involved in every element of creating the nature packs. The young people help source the products and put the items into the cardboard boxes. Inside the ‘Grow your own’ packs we have seasonal herbs, vegetables and plants, compost pellets and instructions so you can grow your very own crops on your window sill. Additionally in the packs we provide positive postcards and motivational quotes that can be placed around your house. If anyone is interested in buying ‘Grow your own’ boxes please get in contact with us.
We run fundraiser events in the community to try and raise money for 1125 CIC, the money raised goes back to the community to be able to run activities for young people who need it the most. If anyone wants to host a fundraiser event please get in contact with us.
If anyone would like to donate any monies to 1125 CIC for community projects then please get in contact with us Every donation, no matter how large or small supports young people from our community.
