For the Risky Venture project 1125 CIC have had continuation funding from the National Lottery Community Fund People and Places programme.
Our Risky Venture project is based in Flintshire and works with vulnerable young people aged 11 – 25. It focuses on improving young people’s mental health by running engagement activities with a major focus on our environment by getting young people outdoors learning new skills. The Risky Venture programme runs 2 days a week with timetabled activities for the young people to work on their confidence, social skills and ability to have their voices heard, as well as having the opportunity to take part in leadership accreditations!
The Risky Venture staff and young people will be working on reducing our carbon footprint by making a baseline footprint which will get monitored during the 3 years project! The future looks bright!
